Saravana Ravindran

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean (Research) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from New York University in 2019 and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2019 - 2020. I am an affiliated professor of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). I am currently visiting Yale University under the Kuznets Visitors program for development economists. 

My primary research interests are in development economics and applied microeconomics, particularly in the areas of human capital formation, migration, and digital financial services.
